Dear Supervisor Chan,
As your constituent, I’m very concerned about traffic safety. After reading Walk San Francisco’s traffic safety report card for our district, it’s deeply troubling how many dangerous roads and intersections there are – and many have yet to get any safety fixes. The City needs to move faster and more aggressively in implementing its Vision Zero Action Strategy. Please use your position as Supervisor to hold the City to its promises in fixing deadly intersections and streets on the high-injury network by the end of 2024, and moving forward a comprehensive plan to address dangerous speeds immediately. It breaks my heart to see how many people have been hurt and killed on streets I know well – any one of these could have been me, my family member, or a neighbor. It is in your power to see that Vision Zero is a City agency priority and I\'m counting on you to prioritize safety for our neighborhood and city. Sincerely,
