We need your voice to win safe streets for all.

We need speed safety systems in California

Speed is the #1 contributor to severe and fatal traffic crashes on our streets. Speed safety systems are a powerful, proven solution. But a recent bill to allow them to be piloted in five California cities, AB 550, failed. Here’s what you can do to build support.

Urge your Supervisor to act now for safe streets

In 2022, 37 people lost their lives in traffic crashes in San Francisco. That’s because many of San Francisco’s streets are dangerous, especially for people walking. Read Walk San Francisco’s updated traffic safety report cards to see what the City is doing and where they’ve been falling behind. Then email your Supervisor to make traffic safety a priority.

Ask Mayor Breed to make safe streets a priority

Streets can be designed and enforced to protect you and your loved ones, and prevent countless tragedies. City leaders must make traffic safety a priority, but they won’t unless people like you ask them to. Email Mayor Breed now.
