Speak out at a key SFMTA Board meeting on January 20

Please join us at the SFMTA Board of Directors’ meeting when they vote on the work plan for the SFMTA’s safe streets work in 2026+!
This is a key moment to show big support for a detailed and ambitious work plan so we see real progress to make pedestrians safe next year.
The SFMTA will vote on its work plan for what’s in the Street Safety Act and the Street Safety Initiative on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 1:00PM.
If you can give public comment (even if you’re a ‘maybe’), please sign up now to help us be ready to turn out tons of support in the new year!
This meeting will be held at City Hall in Room 400 on the 4th floor. Depending on where this item is in the agenda, you may be able to arrive later than 1:00PM.
We’ll share talking points and keep you posted on the meeting agenda and likely timing as we get closer.
