San Francisco Bay Area Families for Safe Streets: March 24, 2026 Meeting

March 24, 2026 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Monthly Meeting

San Francisco Bay Area Families for Safe Streets Chapter

San Francisco Bay Area Families for Safe Streets brings together people affected by traffic crashes, providing support and ways to channel grief into action.

At our meetings, we generally: 1) share updates and opportunities on key campaigns, 2) hear what’s happening with the national Families for Safe Streets movement; 3) discuss the needs of the group; 4) celebrate wins; and 5) welcome new community members and connect with each other.

Families for Safe Streets meetings are only for those who have been directly affected by a traffic crash.

Our March 24 Families for Safe Streets hybrid meeting will have two parts:
  • 5:30-6:30PM: Training on Sharing Your Story with Decisionmakers, Media, and in Public Comment (optional but highly recommended for newer members)
  • 6:30-7:30PM: Monthly meeting

For those attending in-person for either/both parts, dinner will be provided and you will be at Walk SF’s office at 2601 Mission Street, Suite 400. RSVP here.

If you have not attended a Families for Safe Streets meeting before, we will reach out to you beforehand to schedule a conversation about your direct experience with a traffic crash and about the Families for Safe Streets group.
