Take our survey on your experiences with e-scooters, e-bikes, & e-motos as a pedestrian
One of the actions in Mayor Lurie’s Street Safety Initiative is to develop a plan to better manage the growing number of micromobility devices on our streets (e-scooters, e-bikes, e-motos, and e-mopeds).
Regulation has seriously lagged in addressing this new era in transportation, plus street infrastructure falls far short of what’s needed given how many people are using these micromobility devices.
And while motor vehicles remain by far the biggest danger we face getting around, micromobility devices have introduced new safety issues on both our streets and sidewalks.
We’ve heard from many Walk SF members about this issue, and it affects all pedestrians. That’s why Walk SF is actively researching which solutions will make the biggest difference for safety in regards to micromobility devices.
Now we want to hear what you’re experiencing as a pedestrian as you get around San Francisco:
📝 Take our micromobility survey by October 15 📝
Your input will help inform Walk SF’s efforts in the upcoming months as we work to shape Mayor Lurie’s micromobility plan.
Want to learn more about what the City is thinking on micromobility? At the SFMTA Board meeting on Tuesday, October 6 at 1PM, there will be a presentation on safety data and regulatory challenges related to micromobility in San Francisco. Walk SF will be there to learn more; you can tune in on SFGovTV2 or join us at City Hall in Room 400.
