Inspired: Check out the Walk & Roll Week photo and art gallery!

 In Uncategorized

Each October, thousands of kids at schools across San Francisco walk, scoot, and bicycle to school as part of International Walk & Roll to School Day. This event sparks new habits and builds excitement for getting to school in people-powered ways all year long.

With most students learning remotely this fall, we had to be creative. So we held Walk & Roll Week, with five days of do-it-yourself fun activities to get out and get moving. Students and classrooms from 29 schools participated!

The fun isn’t over, though. The San Francisco Safe Routes to School Partnership is holding an art contest for all SFUSD students K-12 to help celebrate Walk & Roll Week. Entries are due by 11:59PM November 30, 2020.
