Walk SF discusses SF street safety on KQED’s Forum
In the wake of a fatal bicycle-pedestrian collision in the Castro and the recent joint statement from Walk SF and the SF Police Department on a commitment to increased pedestrian safety, KQED’s Forum program hosted an April 9 discussion about safety on San Francisco streets.
Forum host Michael Krasny spoke with Elizabeth Stampe, executive director of Walk San Francisco, Leah Shahum, executive director of the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, Captain Al Casciato of the San Francisco Police Department, and Bert Hill, chair of San Francisco’s Bicycle Advisory Committee.
