Standing in Solidarity and Demanding Safer Streets

World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims is a global event honoring the millions of people hurt and killed in traffic crashes each year. The event also demands an end to these devastating and preventable tragedies.

San Francisco will hold its tenth annual World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims on the afternoon of Sunday, November 17, 2024 outside of City Hall. 

Whether you have been affected by a traffic crash as a victim or someone who has lost a friend or loved one, there is a place for you at this event. This is a supportive space to reflect, grieve, and find comfort with those who understand.

The broader community is strongly encouraged to attend in solidarity. Your presence is deeply meaningful to victims and their loved ones. And together, our presence shines a needed light on these tragedies and the urgent need for change.
