This Is Market Street: Film Screening, July 11

As the Better Market Street project readies new designs for a street where a quarter-million people walk each day, take an evocative stroll down San Francisco’s “grand boulevard” with a thought-provoking film:

This Is Market Street
(hosted by Walk SF and the Better Market Street project)
Thu, July 11
12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
SPUR

(654 Mission St.)

FREE to SPUR members; $10 for non-members

After the screening, join panelists, including Walk SF’s Elizabeth Stampe, the Civic Center Community Benefit District’s Donald Savoie, the SF Planning Department Urban Designer, Neil Hrushowy, and the filmmaker Darryl Jones, to share your own perspective as part of a discussion with designers, planners, and other Market Street users about the future of San Francisco´s greatest street.

The film, shot in 2012, inspires a dialogue about the future of Market street and preserves an experience of the corridor before its transformation. Share your own perspective as part of a discussion with the filmmaker, designers, planners, and other Market Street users about the future of San Francisco’s greatest street.
