Walk & Roll to School Day: Middle and High School Students

Walk & roll on October 6 for the planet – and to win prizes!

What if hundreds – maybe even thousands – of middle and high school students used human-powered ways to get to school on October 6?

San Francisco students would together:

  • Keep thousands of pounds of carbon dioxide out of our climate
  • Enjoy cleaner air thanks to less particulates from vehicle pollution
  • Inspire people across San Francisco to make more planet-friendly trips!

Students at SFUSD middle and high schools are invited to be part of International Walk & Roll to School Day in 2021 with a special event just for them.

All students have to do is share a few details from their walk or roll to school on Wednesday, October 6.

We’ll draw the names of three participating students to win their choice of a pair of sneakers, rollerskates, micro scooter, or a skateboard!

Students: want to spread the word on Walk & Roll to School Day to your friends and school community? Here are graphics to use on social media and in your school’s newsletter.
