The 20th annual Peak2Peak is Saturday, September 7, 2024! Don’t miss a spectacular day of exploration through San Francisco. Our expert walk designers have created a top-secret, unique route exploring hidden trails, stunning vistas, and off-the-beaten-path treasures in our beautiful city.

Your Peak2Peak ticket includes:

• A knowledgeable guide for your small group so you can just relax and enjoy the hike
• Coffee, catered lunch, and snacks to keep you fueled

• An exclusive, printed turn-by-turn map of the route

The event is limited to 250 participants and always sells out, so get your ticket asap! We won’t be offering a self-guided, DIY option so be sure to join us to enjoy this year’s route.

The Route

If you think after 20 years we can’t come up with a route that will take you by surprise, you’re wrong! This year’s Peak2Peak trades out some of the classics for lesser-known peaks and paths that will surprise you and make you fall in love with the city all over again. The route starts outside the Balboa Pool in Balboa Park and ends on car-free JFK Promenade in Golden Gate Park – and takes 6 to 7 hours to complete. Start times are from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and will be assigned and sent to ticket holders the week of the event.

Please note that Peak2Peak route does include uneven paths, dirt trails, steep hills, and stairway climbs, as well as street terrain. Participants must be in good health, without any mobility limitations, and able to walk for several hours at a steady pace.

Tickets

Single or group tickets can be purchased. We encourage you to team up with friends and colleagues to make it a social event of the season! To ensure your friends are assigned to the same group, please purchase up to 6 tickets together before Thursday, August 29, 2024. If you do not purchase group tickets, be sure to send your request to be grouped together to events@walksf.org before Friday, August 30, 2024.

Refund Policy

Cancellations on or before Thursday, August 22, 2024 will receive a full refund. Cancellations on or after Friday, August 23, 2024 are ineligible to receive a refund. Tickets are transferable; contact events@walksf.org to do so and include: (a) the ORIGINAL name on the order and (b) the full name and contact (email and phone number) of who the ticket is being transferred towards. Transfers are available until the day before the event on Friday, September 6, 2024 by 9:00 AM Pacific Time.

Peak2Peak takes place rain or shine, except in the case of very severe weather. In the event of poor air quality due to wildfires, Peak2Peak will be canceled and ticket holders will be notified 24 hours before the event. Ticket holders will also receive a route map and gift in the mail. We would not be rescheduling the event.
