Meeting: Upcoming Changes to Valencia Street
April 23, 2018 @ 8:00 am
As the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) gets ready for a new project to create protected bicycle lanes along Valencia Street, Walk San Francisco, the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, and SFMTA are all teaming up together to talk with the community about the changes coming to the street.
This project will make the streets safer for people on bicycles, and we at Walk SF want to make sure that it also works for people on foot, and keeps the street’s many parklets and bulb-outs — sidewalk widenings that protect pedestrians.
This is an opportunity to plug in at the very beginning of the project to help shape what the future of Valencia Street could look like.
Anyone interested in hearing future plans or asking questions is encouraged to attend. Reach out to greg AT walksf.org if you have any questions.
