Let’s celebrate one year of speed cameras in San Francisco!
April 29, 2026 @ 8:30 am - 9:00 am

A little more than a year ago, San Francisco became the first city in California to pilot a speed camera program.
Walk SF worked with crash victims for years to pass state legislation to bring this proven, lifesaving solution here. Speed cameras at 33 locations in San Francisco have done exactly what we hoped: significantly changed driver behavior at camera locations, which makes everyone safer.
Join us in celebrating speed cameras and showing the enthusiasm for expanding them in San Francisco!
We’ll be at 4th and Harrison on Wednesday, April 29 from 8:30-9:00AM with Families for Safe Streets, District 6 Supervisor Matt Dorsey, and community partners.
RSVP for Wednesday and/or Thursday
