Identify ways to make streets and sidewalks safer in the Bayview

When: Friday, June 27 from 10:00-11:30 AM

Where: Meet at the corner of 3rd Street & Armstrong Street in front of Bayview Park. We’ll walk ~4 blocks during the walk audit.

Do you live or work in the Bayview? When you’re walking in the Bayview, have you experienced: 

• Cracked sidewalks?
• No crosswalk where you need one?
• Dim street lighting at night?
• Not enough time to cross the street?
• Dangerous driving that threatens your safety?

These are the kinds of problems we will identify together on our community walk audit.  

Everyone who works or lives in the Bayview is welcome! We’ll provide coffee, donuts, and supplies. You’ll learn about how streets can be designed to be safer especially for seniors, children, and all abilities. RSVP now.
