Community Advisory Committee Meeting: Balboa Reservoir Development Plan
Monday, April 9, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
City College of SF, Multi-Use Building, 55 Phelan Avenue

The Balboa Reservoir development is a proposal for 550 affordable homes and 550 market-rate homes, with 4 acres of open space and a child care center. The plan calls for new homes and open spaces to be linked to public transit and stores by pedestrian and bicycle pathways.

The plan is the result of a multi-year community planning process started by a Community Advisory Committee (CAC) of community members and City agencies in 2014. In 2018, the Reservoir Community Partners development team, led by Avalon Bay and BRIDGE Housing with co-developers Mission Housing, Habitat For Humanity, and Pacific Union, will continue to host community meetings and neighborhood events to improve the plan.

On April 9, the team will be sharing and discussing the development plan we will be submitting to the City’s Planning Department later in April. This development plan represents the initial site design and program vision, modified by community input from the past 6 months of the community planning process. The website is still under development, but information about past meetings can be found at http://sf-planning.org/balboa-reservoir-cac-meeting-schedule
