4th Anniversary Celebration of JFK Promenade

The JFK Promenade is four years old on April 28!
Come celebrate this safe, car-free space for people on Sunday, April 28 from 12:00 – 3:00 PM four years after JFK was first closed to traffic by Mayor London Breed.
Join voters, volunteers, organizations, and leaders who were part of the historic wins to make JFK Promenade permanent… and everyone who loves JFK Promenade!
When: Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 12:00 – 3:00PM
Where: Peacock Meadow right off of JFK Promenade
Bring: A picnic and blanket; there will also be food trucks. Please pack it in and pack it out to minimize waste.
Invite: Anyone and everyone who loves the JFK Promenade!
What: Meet friends or make new ones. There will be games and activities for all ages. There will be some surprises, prizes, and special guests with a program at 1:00 PM. A raffle will be held (must be present to win) at 2:30PM.
Accessibility: Within a block, there are 3 ADA spots at McLaren Lodge and 4 where Nancy Pelosi Dr meets JFK Promenade. The large, free surface ADA lot behind the Music Concourse has direct pickup for the free shuttle to Peacock Meadow. More from Rec and Park.
Bike parking: Provided onsite by the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition.
