Summer Ambassadors Training
June 14, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm
Do you want to help your neighbors and your community learn about and get involved in advocacy for better streets? These might include working on policy like Vision Zero, local efforts like Safe Routes to School, annual events like Walk to Work Day and Walk & Roll to School Day, or neighborhood improvements like intersection murals?
Come get trained to become a Walk SF Ambassador!
Summer Ambassadors Training
Thursday, June 14 | 6:30 – 7:45 p.m.
Walk SF Office, 333 Hayes Street
RSVP here
At our Summer Ambassador training, you’ll learn about volunteer opportunities, including supporting special events like Sunday Streets, Peak2Peak, Walk to Work Day, and Woonerven (Walk SF’s annual member party and fundraiser). Ambassadors enjoy tasty snacks at the training and earn an “I Walk SF” t-shirt*!
Volunteering is a great way to connect with other fun, civic-minded folks who want safer, more walkable streets. Best of all, you’ll be making a real difference by growing the voice for safer streets and a more sustainable city.
To volunteer as an Ambassador, you must first attend a quarterly training. Space is limited; RSVP today!
*Ambassadors receive their t-shirts at their first public volunteer event.
