Rally for ‘Safe Streets, Strong SF’ on Tuesday, April 29 at City Hall
It’s now been more than 100 days since the City’s Vision Zero policy expired. There is no interagency plan, no goals, and no public accountability on traffic safety.
This is despite 2024 being the deadliest year in a decade for traffic deaths. It’s time to get loud and demand that our leaders prioritize safe streets.
Join Walk SF, District 7 Supervisor Myrna Melgar, partners, and anyone who wants safe streets at a rally on Tuesday, April 29 at 12:00PM outside of City Hall. We’ll then go into City Hall for the 2pm Board of Supervisors meeting to demand for a bold new Vision Zero policy and plan, with the funding and accountability needed for it to succeed. RSVP for the rally.
Can’t make it? Email Mayor Lurie now to commit to and deliver bold action on Vision Zero.
- Where: San Francisco City Hall
- When: Tuesday, April 29, 2025, 12:00PM
Wear your Walk SF t-shirt and grab one of our signs when you arrive.
The rally will be followed by a Board of Supervisors meeting in City Hall, Legislative Chamber, Room 250, starting at 2PM. Feel free to join us there in making public comment in support of safe streets and a strong San Francisco!
