Action at 4th & King

On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, one month will have passed since a four-year-old child was hit and killed in the crosswalk at 4th and King.
We are not going to let this tragedy be forgotten.
And what happened must be a wake-up call for our City to do more to protect us. Walk San Francisco has three demands of City leaders to fix deadly intersections including 4th and King – and City leaders have yet to commit to any of these.
At our action on September 12 from 4:30 – 6:30PM, we will create a new memorial for the child, hand out flyers to passersby to email City leaders, and hold signs at the intersection demanding change. We will be working to get media coverage, too. We really need your help to make this a strong action and hope you can join us, even for part of the action!
