Why I’m stepping up for Walk San Francisco
When you really care about something, there comes a moment when you have to step up.
I’ve decided to match every donation to Walk SF on #GivingTuesday today.
When I think about what affects me every single day, it is safe streets. And this is about our lives, our neighborhoods, and our city’s future.
I joined the Walk SF Board because I saw how effective this small organization is at winning big changes. The more I’ve learned, the more impressed I’ve become – you should read Walk SF’s latest impact report.
I want Walk SF to win more big changes in 2025. But Walk SF has to raise $200,000 by year-end, and is only a third of the way there.
That’s where you and I can step up together. If you donate today on #GivingTuesday, I will match it dollar-for-dollar.
And as a thank you for giving, there are some one-day-only perks that will be shipped your way this week.

So if you’re glad that speed cameras will be on our streets in February 2025, step up today.
If you love JFK Promenade, step up today.
If you want an organization working tirelessly on your behalf to make San Francisco the safest city in America to walk in, step up today.
We can transform San Francisco’s streets and future by stepping up together.
As you decide which charities to support on #GivingTuesday, please step up for Walk San Francisco. I can’t wait to match your gift!
