We’re recruiting a few new walk leaders for Peak2Peak – apply ASAP
One of the reasons our annual Peak2Peak is such a special experience is because of our walk leaders.
These trained volunteers lead groups on the top-secret Peak2Peak route. Leaders keep the group ontrack to the next peak so participants can talk and take in the views.
We are recruiting a small number of new walk leaders for the 2024 Peak2Peak on Saturday, September 7 Peak2Peak.
If you’re a Walk SF member who’s outgoing, loves big hikes, and is great at following maps and directions, consider applying!
Most Peak2Peak walk leaders return year after year, so we only bring in a few new folks each year.
Please apply ASAP if you’re interested in one of the slots and we’ll get back to you before August 10 for a quick phone call to discuss your application.

Requirements for walk leaders
- Be physically fit and capable of co-leading a group of 25 participants through the 10-mile, 10-peak route on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
- Attend one Walk Leader orientation/practice walk on Saturday, August 10 or Saturday, August 17.
- Be a great host and talk to about a few Walk SF highlights along the way (notes will be provided by Walk SF).
