July 11 is next hurdle for getting speed camera bill out of the Senate; act now to help #PassAB645

 In Uncategorized

We are thrilled that AB 645, which would allow lifesaving speed safety cameras to be piloted in six California cities, was passed by the Senate Transportation Committee on Tuesday in a 10 to 5 vote.

The bill will now go to the Senate Judiciary Committee on July 11. If it is passed there, it will go to the Senate Appropriations Committee on August 14, *right* after legislators return from recess.

On Monday, July 3, we’re going to submit an official letter to all members of the Senate Judiciary Committee signed by as many people as possible urging their support of AB 645.

We don’t have much time, so please take less than a minute to add your name!

Then stay tuned for more ways you can help in this critical final stretch to get AB 645 over the finish line.
