Philosopher’s Way Trail-building Walk

 In Events, Walks

Not afraid of a little mud? Want to get down and dirty in the city? Then this is the Walk SF event for you.

McLaren Park Philosopher's Trail

McLaren Park's Philosopher's Way Trail

Do more than just walk a trail — help build a trail by joining Walk SF and the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department’s Natural Area (SFRPD) program on Saturday, November 17. Help restore and beautify McLaren Park’s Philospher Way Trail as part of this special, monthly members’ walk.

Learn about McLaren Park’s history, ecosystems and relation to the rest of the city’s landscape from the SFRPD’s Joe Grey as you work on restoring this natural area.  Then after the restoration, follow one of the Philosopher’s Way artists, Peter Richards, for a guided walk of the trail’s special art collection.

Space is very limited, so RSVP today.
