Kick off summer with Walk SF at these awesome June events
Summer is unofficially here, and with its arrival comes a couple of great events:
Sunday Streets Bayview/Dogpatch
Sunday Streets is headed to the Bayview, Dogpatch, and Potrero Hill neighborhoods on June 12th. If you’re interested in volunteering to staff a table for a couple of hours, enjoy meeting people and recruiting new fellow Walk SF members, let us know at volunteer@walksf.org.
SoMa Alleys & Gardens walk
SoMa’s alleyways are becoming pedestrian walkways, calm refuges from the dangerous arterial streets. Explore with us, meet the locals, and see what SOMA streets need. We’ll walk the alleys, visit a park and beautiful community gardens, and end with an optional wine-tasting!
- Saturday, June 18th
- 1:00 PM
- Free for Walk SF members ($10.00 for non-members)
- Please RSVP
Meet us at Hallidie Plaza, above the Powell BART and Muni station on Saturday, June 18th at 1:00 PM
Toast Walk SF at Elixir
Raise a glass to SF pedestrians! On Wednesday, June 22nd, we’re having a party at Elixir in the Mission. Swing by 16th and Guerrero after 9 for a drink at this historic, comfy bar. Say hi to our volunteer bartenders and sip and tip generously: you’ll be supporting Walk SF!
