Support further study of congestion pricing

 In Actions, Public Policy

The County Transportation Authority’s Congestion Pricing Feasibility Study is going before its board tomorrow — speak up or attend the Tues Dec. 14 meeting to support continued study.

Congestion pricing in London and Stockholm has reduced pedestrian crashes, increased bicycling, lowered greenhouse gas emissions, and improved public transit service. Some of the funds from the pricing would support street improvements for pedestrians and cyclists, traffic calming, and public transit.

Find out more about the study by visiting www.sfmobility.com, reading this factsheet or watching a video.

Come speak up in support of further study of congestion pricing:

SF Transportation Authority Board meeting
Tuesday, December 14, 11 a.m.
City Hall Legislative Chambers (Room 250)
Nearest BART: Civic Center / Nearest Muni: Van Ness

At this meeting, the Board will consider accepting the MAPS final report and directing staff to move to the next stage of environmental review of a potential pilot or permanant program. Doing this wouldn’t mean they’re approving a project; it simply means authorizing further study.
