Do you want to help your neighbors and your community learn more about and get involved in advocacy for better streets? These might include policy efforts like Vision Zero, local efforts like Safe Routes to School, special annual events like Walk to Work Day and Walk & Roll to School Day, or neighborhood improvements like intersection murals?
At an Ambassador training, you’ll learn about volunteer opportunities, including supporting special events like Peak2Peak, Walk to Work Day, and Woonerven (Walk SF’s annual member party and fundraiser). Ambassadors enjoy tasty seasonal snacks and drinks at the training and earn an “I Walk SF t-shirt”*!
Best of all, you’ll help make a real difference by growing the voice for safer, greener streets. Plus, volunteering is a great way to connect with other like-minded folks interested in safer streets and greener, more walkable neighborhoods.
