Kick off a healthy life-long habit on Walk and Roll to School Day
This year on Wednesday, October 10, schools across San Francisco will participate in Walk and Roll to School Day—now celebrated in over 40 countries around the world!
Sign the pledge below to say you and your child(ren) will walk on October 10, and enter to win a great prize:
one of three free family day passes to the Exploratorium!
Walk and Roll to School Day is an opportunity to start a healthy habit for a lifetime. Studies show that children who walk to school enjoy health benefits and academic advantages, as well as getting more quality bonding time with parents. Plus, walking to school gives children a sense of accomplishment, independence, and self-confidence. Get started on Walk & Roll to School Day, then keep walking as often as you can!
