DESCRIPTION:See the changing face of SoMa on a 2.5 mile tour of this dynamic\, diverse neighborhood. Starting at Van Ness Station and ending at 5th & Market\, we’ll take stock of eight streets that are in the process of being redesigned for a more pedestrian-friendly experience. We’ll also check out the local street art and the great variety of architecture in the neighborhood. SoMa is full of surprises and so is this walk. \nThis walk is led by Cole Brennan\, one of our beloved and knowledgeable volunteer walk leaders. Cole lived in SoMa for several years\, and will bring fascinating facts and perspectives on pedestrian issues in the neighborhood to life. \nGet your tickets now. \nMonthly walks are free to Walk SF members\, and $10 for non-members.
