DESCRIPTION:Monthly Meeting\nSan Francisco Bay Area Families for Safe Streets Chapter\nSan Francisco Bay Area Families for Safe Streets brings together people affected by traffic crashes\, providing support and ways to channel grief into action. \nAt our meetings\, we generally: 1) share updates and opportunities on key campaigns\, 2) hear what’s happening with the national Families for Safe Streets movement; 3) discuss the needs of the group; 4) celebrate wins; and 5) welcome new community members and connect with each other. \nFamilies for Safe Streets meetings are only for those who have been directly affected by a traffic crash. \nOur meeting on Tuesday\, April 28\, will meet virtually on Zoom. DESCRIPTION:A little more than a year ago\, San Francisco became the first city in California to pilot a speed camera program. \nWalk SF worked with crash victims for years to pass state legislation to bring this proven\, lifesaving solution here. Speed cameras at 33 locations in San Francisco have done exactly what we hoped: significantly changed driver behavior at camera locations\, which makes everyone safer. \nJoin us in celebrating speed cameras and showing the enthusiasm for expanding them in San Francisco!  \nWe’ll be at 4th and Harrison on Wednesday\, April 29 from 8:30-9:00AM with Families for Safe Streets\, District 6 Supervisor Matt Dorsey\, and community partners.\n \nRSVP for Wednesday and/or Thursday \nQuestions?
