Walk & Bike to Worship Week 2017

This May, from Saturday, May 27 to Sunday, June 4, the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, Walk San Francisco, the San Francisco Interfaith Council and leaders from local congregations are partnering to make this picture a reality by inviting congregants to participate in the 4th Annual Walk & Bike to Worship Week.

Walk & Bike to Worship gives congregation and community members the opportunity to raise the visibility of walking, biking, and/or taking transit to worship to make communities safer and more pleasant places to live. Additionally, it’s a collective celebration that promotes physical activity, health, and safety for neighbors and the environment From free workshops to the Interfaith Ride, there are many ways congregations can get involved!

A highlight of the celebration will be the 3rd Annual Interfaith Ride on Sunday, June 4 (details TBD), where members of different congregations will ride together to visit different churches.

Get your congregation involved – sign up today!
