The City adopted Vision Zero as a policy in 2014 with the explicit goal of eliminating all traffic deaths by 2024. With only five years remaining until 2024, the City will need an aggressive and detailed roadmap to get to Vision Zero. Yet the SFMTA is currently only working on a plan for the next two years.
We need your help in sending a strong message that the City needs a bold and strategic five-year plan – not a two-year plan – that includes specific plans for every high-injury corridor in the city. Can you join us in speaking out at the upcoming Vision Zero Two-Year Action Strategy Workshop on July 30?
